Kisite Mpunguti National Marine Park is located about 40 Kilometers South of Diani beach. This stunning marine ecosystem offers a flurry of marine life centered around its colorful reef and giant coral heads. Day trips can be arranged on one of the local Dhows, the traditional Swahili boats which will include a visit to the Shimoni Slave Caves, snorkeling, dolphin spotting and a Swahili Feast on Wasini Island.
The Shimba Hills National Park is 30 kilometers away; here you will find dense forest with an array of bird and wild life alike. This is one of the largest coastal forests in Kenya and along with the Sheldrake Falls makes for a lovely day out or weekend getaway as there are plenty of campsites and lodges in the area.
